John Lewis enters their 150th year with a bang, recording a 6.9% sales increase year-on-year

great news for the nation’s favourite retailer

John Lewis has reported sales of £734m in the five weeks leading up to 28th December, a rise of almost 7% on Christmas 2012.

It’s hard to pin point why this growth occurred – could it be their The Bear and The Hare advert with the Reworked competition? Their Oxford Street debut on Google Street View?
